Movie #15 : Choose Love

 My mom and I decided to watch this new interactive movie featuring Laura Marano as the main lead, Cami. I haven't done one of these for a while and I saw on TikTok that it would be fun. When doing an interactive movie, you are posed with certain questions about what actions the main character should do. Based on what you choose, you will have alternative endings. I like that I was able to control who she ended up with, but it gave me massive amounts of stress that I made the wrong choice for her. 

The movie follows Cami, a sound engineer who is in a long-term relationship with divorce lawyer Paul. Cami struggles with commitment after her parents' divorce and remarriage. She sees a pyschic who says there will be three men in her life. This confuses Cami until she sees her old high school flame, Jack. You can choose to have lunch with him or not. The next man she meets is Rex, played by Avan Jogia, and he is a famous British popstar. Now you can decide who Cami ends up with.

Now, I love Avan Jogia, so I chose him for everything. I had Cami choose him in the end. It also came with perks that she was able to travel the world and follow her dreams of being a musician. I read the other outcomes, and it seemed like I made the best decisions. I have no regrets about it at all. 

This 2023 interactive film directed by Stuart McDonald is a fun thing to watch maybe for a girl's wine night. I recommend it if you want something fun to do on a night in. It's on Netflix now.

I was on a rom-com wave and wanted to go to the theaters, so I decided to see "The Materialists" directed by Celine Song in 2025 starring Dakota Johnson, Pedro Pascal, and Chris Evans. Podcast #1 : Scamanda

 This is my first podcast post as I am not a frequent podcast listener but this was recommended to me by a friend. I finished it up today on my walk and the whole thing made me mad. If I ever meet this Amanda girl, I swear. The podcast was produced in May 2023 by Charlie Webster. She talks us through the whole situation. Do not get thrown off by the fact that she is British, this incident occurs in the US. It is a true crime case that has you asking so many questions. The case starts with an email sent to Nancy, an investigative journalist who states that a woman by the name of Amanda C. Reilly does not have cancer.
